Sunday Stills - Wildflowers

Well I didn't realize until I started uploaded that I got no oranges or reds! Oh well. Here are my top pics for the week! I think I have a problem with zooming in on my subjects! Maybe I need to challenge myself to focusing a little farther away and seeing what I come up with. I also got some really good shots of a butterfly. But I didn't want to take away from the wildflower challenge so I will post them later! Happy 4th everyone!

O.K. heres the challenge and it is a challenge. Grab your camera and find an open field, fence row, empty lot, and get some wildflowers. The challenge is no flower gardens, botanical gardens, hanging baskets, etc… I manage to find wildflowers in the most unusual places, you just have to look. Oh yeah, weeds are considered wildflowers. The only folks who get a pass this week are those of you who live in the Southern Hemisphere because its winter,so, whatever ya find thats cool.
Good Luck….Ed"

  1. Your pics look great, do you use a tripod or go freehand? I always use my tripos for macros..:-)

  12. I like the second one, too. I believe it is called Water Willow, and here it grows in our rivers.

  13. It doesn't appear to me, from my unskilled perspective, that you have a problem zooming in at all! What is the white flower? It looks so pure!
