Sunday Stills - Animal Husbandry

Well sorry guys but I haven't had time to go out and look for animals of husbandry round here in the city!!!! LOL But I didn't want to miss another Sunday Stills so here is some I pulled from the archives.
This is my fathers horse Dynamite, with his mother Dixie, when he was born in Sept 2003. The last picture was taken in June 2005. Sadly my dad got rid of this beautiful horse, but he has a very good owner so we are okay with it.
Here's the blurb for this weeks challenge:
"This will be easy for most but a challenge for some of us…:-) For a real challenge how about 3 or more animals in the pic?? Or 2 or more different animals in the pic??
Have fun…Ed"

In response to Ed's response. I didn't even think to put this in! Sorry! My father has actually had several of these color horses come out of Dixie. He now has the newest addition, Sunny and the one before him, a female and I can't remember her name, in his possession.

Actually this horse is the color called Cremello. Here's a definition. Cremello is a horse coat color consisting of a cream colored body with a cream or white mane and tail. It occurs when a horse is homozygous for a dilution gene sometimes called the cream gene acting on a red (chestnut) base coat. Such horses have pink skin, blue eyes, and are a light cream or gold color when born, but sometimes fade to almost white as an adult.
He's beautiful isn't he?

  17. I wondered from the first pic if the foal was a double dilute. Then the closer one's with eye color gave me the answer. That's pretty cool!. In some breeding circles those cremello's are a hot item.
